Description
A gingham curtain is one of the cheapest ways to make a plain bathroom look intentional. The check is yarn-dyed rather than printed, which is the difference between a pattern that fades into a pale ghost after a year and one that still has contrast two years in.
The cotton is deliberately not waterproof – pair it with a liner and it behaves like a textile rather than a plastic sheet: it hangs in real folds, softens the light from a bathroom window, and gets better with washing. Two muted colourways, sage-olive and blush-terracotta, sit easily next to stone, white or warm wood tiles.

Material & finish
The curtain is woven from 100% yarn-dyed cotton: the threads are dyed before weaving, which is why the gingham check keeps its contrast after repeated washing instead of fading into grey. The weave has a light, dry texture that hangs in soft folds rather than clinging flat to a liner. The top hem is doubled and stitched around twelve rust-proof metal grommets, so the heading holds its shape when you pull the curtain closed.
