Description
Candle holders are usually either invisible or too clever. These sit in the middle: two stacked glass disks on a solid foot, with a short tube at the top that holds a taper perfectly vertical. Clear glass means they borrow the colour of whatever is on the table, and the flame reflection doubles itself in the lower disk.
Sized to work as a pair across a dinner table or singly on a bath ledge, they are heavy enough not to wobble when a tall candle burns down. The borosilicate stays clear through repeated washing – the point being that you should be able to use them every week, not just at a party.

Material & finish
Borosilicate glass is chosen for two reasons: it tolerates the heat of a taper burning down to the socket, and it stays genuinely clear rather than clouding after a few washes. The stacked-disk form is solid enough to feel reassuring in the hand, and the wide lower disk catches drips so wax lands on glass instead of your tablecloth.
