Description
The gourd shape is what makes this lantern feel like a piece of furniture rather than a light source. Two spheres, one stacked on the other, with pleats that run all the way around the shade – the folds catch the bulb and spread it out, so the glow never lands as a hot spot on a page or a wall.
It is a plug-in lamp, which means steady light without battery anxiety, and at 0.9 kg it moves around easily: bedside at night, hallway shelf by day. The paper is matte, so in daylight it looks like a quiet paper object, and at night it becomes a soft warm orb.

Material & finish
